Was our high seller in 2018 to MJM Enterprises INC. We kept semen on Josey and have sold a few sons out of him that we really liked. We also have several daughters milking and they have worked well. So we decided to try and buy him back and we did just that.

Is a Full Fleckvieh herd sire from Blushrose Simmentals out of Saskatchewan. He really liked the look and style of Elliott when we went to see him. Big foot, lots of muscle and plenty of frame. He was also one of the top performers in the 2021 bull pen. What completely sold us was his dam and grand-dam. His Grand-dam is the top fullblood donor at Blushrose and she is worth the trip to go see.

Max Factor is as consistent as any bull we’ve ever used. His calves come easy, polled with powerful growth. His calves impressed us at the Workman Dispersal in 2017 and continue to impress us with each calf that hits the ground at Leewood. Max sons and daughters are at the top of their pens, with many visitors picking his sons out of the bull pen. We used Max heavily again in 2019 and can’t wait to try a few of his sons in 2020. He’s a moderate framed bull that’s very easy doing and has a disposition second to none. Max is a proven herd sire that will add thickness and doability to his calves.

Bought to add some frame and performance, which he definitely is. His first sons pounded down the scale and will be some of the top bulls to sell in our 2020 sale. Edward’s dam is a very productive cow at LHVS and probably should be in a donor pen. Edward is also a full brother to LHVS Charles that sold for $75,000 to Rendezvous Farms.

We believe PO was the steal of Skors 2019 Bull Sale. We hadn’t really looked at the black bulls and when PO came in the ring, we knew we could use him on something. PO is a soggy bull with as much muscle as you can get on a bull. His dam is very similar to Eagle’s maternal sister and is actually a ¾ sister to her. Progeny coming in 2020.

Rattler is a cherry red, stout made bull that’s short on ears but not much else. He is a curve bender with an 88 lb. BW and 948 lb. WW and an incredible EPD profile. Top 15% CE, top 10% WW & YW, top 10% API and top 5% TI. His dam is spoken of very highly at MRL and joined their donor pen last spring. Rattler is a maternal brother to the $20,000 MRL Torque, showing he’s not a one off. MRL had this to say about their MRL 91Y females and Ratter’s dam “easy-keeping, production machines and this cow is as good as they get.”

Getzlaf is out of a first calf heifer and Virginia Ranches heifer bull, Kuntz Gudas. The four Gudas sons we saw were all dark red and good footed. Getzlaf’s dam was one of the high sellers in the Western Harvest Sale at $28,000 and was our pick of the heifer pen when we toured. We plan to use 734G to add some growth, extra length and pigment.

High seller from the 2015 Crossroad Farms Bull Sale for $16,000. He’s a powerhouse with great feet and moves like a cat. We have many daughters working in the herd; both purebred and commercial. Daughters all milk well, fertile and have been very trouble free. Potash’s libido is off the charts with him breeding 40 cows as a yearling and 36 were in the first cycle. He is backed by the Elite donor dam, Crossroad Ursula 791U. Ursula has some track record with all of her seven sons selling for over $10,000 and averaging over $13,000 (all bought by commercial cattlemen).

One of the top bulls at Skors 2019 Bull Sale selling for $20,000 and we were glad to get him. A super long bull that moves very well and was sired by the great Scream bull. Eagle’s dam is a very good Starquest daughter that has a super udder and is hard to fault. A maternal sister was the second cow to sell in Skors Dispersal at $10,000. Progeny coming in 2020.
