SKORS RED RENOWNED 125A

Renown was the top selling female at the Skors Simmental Dispersal and the mother of the $70,000 Skors Rampage 88F. She was our pick of the herd and we were in disbelieve when we were able to buy her. A cherry red Crosby daughter that has proven she can produce with three sons selling, a $10,000 daughter went to Beechinor Bros. and a daughter retained in herd at Skors. We will be flushing her to Skors Screaming Eagle in 2020.

SUN STAR MOLLY 47W

Molly was purchased out of the Sun Star herd reduction in 2011. She is one of the foundation cows of the Leewood herd and is hard to fault. A cow at 12 years old with perfect feet, a great udder and always brings the pounds in the fall. Molly is a big volume cow that calves with ease and has never missed an AI service. We have three daughters in herd to date and all are standout. We have six embryo calves on the ground in 2020.

MADER TWISTED PASSION 94Z

A powerhouse cow, that goes back to the great Whammy cow at Mader Ranches. Twisted Passion proved herself at High Country Cattle Services with many powerful sons and daughters. Her most notable son being RJY Casino 11C; a bull that had a great show career and has bred very well. We bought her for the donor pen and have flushed her to several sires.

PWK MS WINCHESTER 61S 60U

Howard made his way out to Manitoba for the Workman Dispersal and we wanted to get an older cow with production for the donor pen. 60U stood out with her Max Factor daughter at side. She still had a good udder and feet, so we brought her home. Her production has been very good with three daughters retained in herd, two daughters sold to breeders and three sons selling. She will have two of our top bulls in are 2020 sale.

RRV NATALIE

The traveler of all travelers. There’s been many hands in the pot for old Nat to make her way to Leewood. She was bred by Brock Ranches and sold in dam to RRV Simmentals. Then being sold to Langer Simmentals, then Wa Na La Pa Simmentals, then Ricochet Stock Farms and finally ending up at Leewood Ranch. This old girl has passed through two dispersals and just keeps ticking. Natalie has had six sons go to breeder herds and many more working in commercial herds. A cow with a great foot, a huge hip and is what you think when you think Fleckvieh. She was purchased just for the donor pen and embryos will be implanted in 2020.

LWC MISS RANGER 10B

A cherry red Crossroad Ranger daughter bought out of the Source Sale in 2015. We jumped the gun and flushed 10B as a three year old and glad we did. We flushed her to four different sires and wow! I think the progeny photos will speak for themselves.
